WELCOME TO LIQUID GLASS CREATIONS

My name is Scott Link, I grew up in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains of Western North Carolina in a  small town outside of Asheville.  Art has, and always will be, a huge part of my souls creation.  Both my parents are very creative in there on ways, my Dad did a lot of painting in the 60's and 70's, Mom has a lot of skill with fabric, although she shy's away from complements.  I first discovered Lampworking from Anderson Coats, my friend, and later on teacher, Devon Baxter apprenticed with Anderson for 6 months.  I went almost everyday watching Devon learn and Anderson teach, needless to say I fell in love!!  Devon in 2003 showed me key aspects to lampworking, but my style like everyone else, brought me to a different art, my art.  I love to sculpt, build, create a mixed media art.  I have study under Jay Musler at Penland School of Crafts in Boone N.C., which was a beginner course so I gained a lot by utilizing all the tools I didn't have access to in Devon's shop.  I will continue to create my art, hopefully I will be able to touch many with my creations.
